San Diego Fire Map
The X on the middle left-hand side of the map shows the location of our house. On Sunday night, October 26, 2003, we were able to look both east and north and see the flames upon the hillsides. As the map indicates we were about five miles from the Cedar Fire and ten miles from the Paradise Fire. Our old house in Poway was about five blocks from the edge of the Cedar Fire.
